Sloomoo's universe has expanded — there are now a total of 7 Institutes (NYC, LA, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte, Washington DC) and two MiniMoos (Boston, Philadelphia) with more to come. MiniMoos are smaller than the Institutes but packed with as much color, surprise, and play.

Position summary

The Slime Production Associate at Sloomoo plays a crucial role in our mission to deliver innovative and high-quality slime products. As part of the production team, this individual will engage in various stages of slime creation, from initial mixing through final packaging, ensuring each product meets Sloomoo's standards for quality, safety, consistency, and creativity.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and has a passion for hands-on work, crafting, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Execute all phases of slime production while adhering to established recipes and design specifications.
• Learn and perform all facets of slime production, including mixing, molding, stickering, and packing.
• Conduct quality control checks to maintain product consistency and identify potential issues.
• Efficiently package finished slime products and ensure products are accurately labeled according to company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area, including cleaning equipment and tools and organizing supplies.
• Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and production goals.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support a smooth and efficient production process.
• Collaborate with the production team and other departments to improve processes and support new product ideas.
• Ensure safety is always prioritized, including identifying, addressing, and documenting damages or repair needs.
• Support team members and contribute to a collaborative, positive working environment where everyone can thrive.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, crouch, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to use hands and fingers for grasping, mixing, molding, labeling, packing, and handling small components.
• Ability to safely move materials, supplies, and finished products throughout the production area.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment that may involve wet, sticky, or slippery materials and surfaces.
• Ability to perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining attention to quality and safety.
• Ability to safely operate and work around production equipment and tools as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions and established recipes.
• Basic understanding of safe material handling and adherence to safety protocols.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Creative mindset with an openness to experimenting with new ideas.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hands-on production tasks.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently when needed while remaining a collaborative team player.
• Genuine enthusiasm for creativity, fun, and the Sloomoo brand.
• Minimum age: 18 years.
